Mr. Condray joined Exxon’s East Texas Division immediately after college and served in a number of production assignments in Texas and Louisiana. In 1976, he was named corporate analysis coordinator in the corporate planning department, and later served as division manager and operations manager. Condray was named Vice President of Exxon USA in 1986, Executive Vice President in 1994, and President in 1995. In 2000, he was named Chairman and Production Director of ExxonMobil in London, until retiring in 2003. The Condrays have generously established the Ansel and Virginia Condray Endowed Professorship in Biochemical and Chemical Separations. UA College of Engineering Hall of Fame, 1998.
