After completing his B.S., Dr. Lamb worked two years for The Crossett Company (now Georgia Pacific) in Crossett, Arkansas, where
he met his future wife, Celia Watson. After completing his doctorate, Lamb worked for seven years at the Monsanto Company on polyethylene research in Texas City, Texas. He then spent 14 years on “The Wave of the Future,” synthetic fuels with Exxon in Baytown, Texas, and Stearns-Catalytic in Birmingham, Alabama. Since then, he has become an expert in thermal treatment of hazardous wastes, working for ENSCO/TERIS in El Dorado, Arkansas (two stints) and Southdown Cement in Houston, Texas. He is now an independent consultant and he and Celia live in El Dorado.
