Mr. Cook started working for Ethyl Corporation in 1975. He moved to Exxon Chemical in 1979, but after three years he returned to Ethyl. Ethyl became Albemarle in 1996. During his tenure with Albemarle, Cook has served as technical advisor at several manufacturing locations, including facilities in France. From 1998 to 2003 Cook served as process technology director and then as director of asset utilization. Mr. Cook currently serves as director of research funding and scientifi c liaison for Albemarle in Baton Rouge. Cook is also currently enrolled in graduate school at Louisiana State University, pursuing a PhD in human genetics. He is also a member of LSU’s Chemical Engineering Department’s Industrial Advisory Committee.
