Upon graduation, Greg moved to Houston, TX, as a chemical engineer for Burzynski Research Institute. After working in Burzynski’s pharmaceutical manufacturing plant for a year, he took a position as Process Engineer for Howe-Baker Engineers in Tyler, TX.

Greg worked in Tyler under Howe-Baker, Chicago Bridge & Iron, and then McDermott for over 23 years. In this time, he worked in various roles including: Lead Process Engineer for syngas, gas-to-liquids, and hydrogen plants; Syngas Technology Manager, Process & Mechanical Engineering Manager, and Director of Engineering.

In 2018, Greg transitioned to Lummus Technology, where he led the Hydrogen & Sulfur Technology Business Unit prior to leading Lummus’ Green Circle business unit, which is focused on commercializing new technologies in the areas of circularity, sustainability, and decarbonization.

Greg currently serves as Vice President and Managing Director for Lummus Technology, where he oversees a global business unit responsible for technologies related to water and wastewater treatment, advanced chemical recycling, and proprietary equipment supply.

He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and a life member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Greg’s wife, Julie, is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas, and they have three children: Hannah, Hope, and Blake. Blake is currently enrolled in college, while Hannah and Hope have both graduated from the University of Arkansas.
