BSChE 1991
While pursuing his BSChE, Brent actively participated in the co-op and summer intern programs completing four semesters for Eastman Kodak and Exxon Chemical. He began his career at the Exxon Baytown refinery as a process design and process support engineer. Brent has worked for Valero Refining in Louisiana and Texas for the last 18 years in operations and engineering management roles. He managed operations during construction of a hydrocracker complex and is currently managing process design of a crude complex. He has been actively involved in recruiting engineers and developing engineering intern programs at Valero Houston. Brent’s hobbies include playing golf, leading worship, and coaching baseball.
