Marvin “Andy” Crews

Andy joined the US Army in April of 1981 and served as a Chemical Laboratory Tech and a Medical Laboratory Tech in Pine Bluff, AR and Sagami, Japan. He left the service in August 1988 and enrolled in the U of A Chemical Engineering program. After receiving his MSChE in 1992, Andy joined Howe-Baker Engineers in Tyler, TX, later acquired by CB&I, where he worked in the process design of ammonia, hydrogen, syngas, and GTL plants.In January of 2005 Andy was promoted to Vice President of Process Technology for CB&I USA, where he was responsible for supervision of 11 engineering departments in seven office locations. Andy is currently Vice President of Engineering  and General Manager for CB&I  Houston where he is responsible for the engineering departments and leads the consolidation of the heritage CB&I and Lummus offices in Houston into a common CB&I office in three locations.  While in Tyler, Andy was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azleway, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of at-risk and foster-care children. Andy has four children over the age of 22 and currently resides in Cypress Texas where he enjoys time with his family and RC on road racing.

Mr. Crews passed away November 6, 2019. He will be missed.
