Mr. Baxter is currently Chairman, President, and CEO of ASHTA Chemicals, a leading manufacturer and marketer of potassium hydroxide and related products in North America.
In addition to his work at ASHTA, Baxter has also provided mand financial consulting services through his firm, Baxter Associates. Hhas also provided investment and acquisition capital and services through Baxter Investment Group, Inc.
From 1971 to 1985, Baxter was President and CEO of CF Industries, a major manufacturer and distributor of chemical fertilizers in North America. Under Baxter’s direction, CFI grew from annual sales of $171 million to its position as one of the largest chemical fertilizer producers in the U.S.
The Baxters have generously supported an engineering classroom with advanced audio visual capabilities at the University of Arkansas for several years.

Mr. Baxter passed away on March 29, 2022. He will be missed.
